Welcome to the Diario AS USA live commentary as the 2024 NBA All-Star weekend gets underway with the Basketball Hall of Fame News Conference.

Fans have been streaming in to see the Panini Rising Stars warmup for tonight's Game. Before that, the Ruffles NBA All-Star Celebrity Game will take place at 7 p.m.

We kick things off with the Basketball Hall of Fame News Conference as finalists and select award winners will be announced ahead of the Class of 2024 enshrinement.
