Never the most active shuffler of his bench, Sean Dyche only made one substitution in the weekend's victory over Forest. Unfortunately for the Toffees, neither of the two strikers that swapped places on Saturday was Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Everton's injury-prone talisman was not risked for the trip to the City Ground as he nurses a minor muscular issue. Dyche may be inclined to turn to Beto again for fear of exacerbating Calvert-Lewin's existing problem.
Long-term absentees Dele Alli and Andre Gomes have returned to the training pitch for the Toffees but neither is likely to make Thursday's squad. Fellow midfielder Amadou Onana is also a doubt.
