Stray Dog Is Only Skin And Bσпҽs, Can’t Walk Because It’s Been Starving And Thirsty For A Long Time
When he was just rescued to a dog and cat rescue center in Granada, Spain, the dog Barilla was left with only skin and bones and almost no internal organs were functioning properly. In addition, its muscles were so weak that it could no longer walk and was only paralyzed in one place.

The staff at the center used to be very concerned about whether Barilla, weighing only 7.2kg, could survive due to her serious health condition. Not only that, if they were only one night late, it wouldn’t have saved a life.
Initially, the staff made Barilla a support to help it move to regain muscle since it couldn’t stand on its own. Besides, it was infused with water continuously for 6 hours before the staff dared to give it any other nutritious food.
There were scratches on Barilla ‘s four legs that were said to have been caused by it crawling on the floor.
Fortunately, after 6 hours of being infused with water, Barilla was able to get up to drink water but it didn’t last long.
After a week of taking care and recuperation, Barilla gained 4kg, but it still couldn’t walk or stand for long and kept falling on the floor. It was not until 6 weeks later that Barilla began to eat normally and was able to run and jump like any other healthy dog.
Eduardo Rodriguez, 37 years old, the owner of the shelter, decided to adopt Barilla on the grounds that he fell in love with it at first sight. Currently Barilla is living at his house Rodriguez on the outskirts of Granada with his wife, 14 year old daughter, and 5 other dogs.
After many months of living hard on the streets, Barilla finally had a home of her own.
Anh Rodriguez said this is the first time he has adopted a dog since one of his Pets died in an accident 5 years ago. He shared about his decision: “Its will to live is extraordinary and I felt a connection to it the first time I saw it.”
From the very beginning, anh Rodriguez and Barilla have been very attached and attached to each other.
Barilla ‘s recovery journey is admirable, since the 4th day it was rescued, it has eaten 5-6 meals a day and steadily gained 1kg per day. Currently Barilla has reached a weight of 20.8kg and has almost completely recovered.

Barilla was discovered by a villager and reported to the relief center as well as the police. When he was saved, Barilla was only 10 months old, still very young. Currently, the police are still investigating to find out who caused the miserable dog to get into this situation.
