Heavily Pregnant Dog Is Dumped On Street and Begins To Cry And Beg For Food

He forlorn pooch was living beneath cars for protection and was plainly distressed by the uncertainty surrounding her pregnant babies’ fate. When the North Fork Animal Welfare League (NFAWL) employees discovered about Stella, they brought her in right away.Stella was taken to a veterinarian for a necessary medical examination by the NFAWL team. The veterinarian was certain that the litter will arrive within the next two weeks based on the size of the puppies on the X-ray. As a result, the personnel at the sanctuary made Stella feel at ease in a peaceful and cozy area. They had no idea she would go into labor the next morning!Stella’s stress-free labor was out to be due to her sense of safety and comfort at the shelter. The caregivers kept a close eye on her as she gave birth to eight puppies in a matter of hours. This was the shelter’s first litter in over 20 years, and it was a joyous occasion for everyone! The sanctuary has appealed to the public for financial assistance in order to help the frail mother and her young. Stella will require more feeding in order to properly raise her tiny puppies, and the cost of vaccination and spaying/neutering the litter is also likely to be significant. If you would want to donate to the expenditures of this rescued furry family, please go to their GoFundMe page here. Please spread the word.
